Sometimes the To-Do List this FINALS season is soooooo long that you just want to give up completely. At times like this you find yourself searching for your motivation the same way you search for all the money that was once in your bank account.
Even worse is when you finally find your motivation and you’re in the groove of studying and somebody in the library decides to be all EXTRA in their tone of voice, making you loose your focus, and you’re like “why God, why?”
The worst is when you’re finally gaining momentum in your studying and Mr. Sleep-Attack comes along in his mortal combat voice like “FINISH HIM!☠️⚰️”. LOL
It’s Finals season, so you need to watch this video!
Key Points to take away from this episode are:
1. Make a PLAN and set a GOAL:
What are you going to study?
How much of it are you going to study?
How much time are you going to spend studying it?
2. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION; pick your location wisely! It can vary based on multiple factors:
The amount of time you have to study.
Your energy level.
How soon your exam is.
3. Reward yourself.
Pick a healthy snack. Try some tea or perhaps a cup of hot cocoa or a starbucks drink.
4. Minimize distractions.
Find a quiet space, try some ear plugs, or listen to classical musical music with noise canceling headphones.
My favorite spotify playlists are: SPA Treatment, Atmospheric Calm, Daniel Jang, Real Instrumentals [You’re welcome! ]
5. Fight back ⚔️that pesky Mr. Sleep-Attack!
Sleep 7-8 hours every night.
Try tea or coffee.
Take a nap.
Exercise to energize your brain cells💪🏾.
